The campus budget process is a continuous, year-round cycle designed to align the university's financial resources with its strategic goals and academic mission.
This process is committed to shared governance and transparency. Each fall, the Vice Chancellor for Administration and Finance provides a campus budget update which is open to the campus community. In addition, two primary committees—the Campus Budgetary Affairs Committee (CBAC) and the Faculty Senate Budgetary Affairs Committee (BAC)— make recommendations on resources and help to ensure the community understands the fiscal health of the university.
