Our Testing Center provides a welcoming and secure, supportive, and accessible environment for students and community members to complete placement exams, academic tests, certification assessments, and other proctored exams with integrity and fairness. The Center maintains membership with and adheres to professional standard and guidelines set forth by the National College Testing Association (NCTA).
Whether you are taking a placement or licensing test, a scheduled course exam, completing a make-up exam, or needing assistance with testing arrangements, our staff is here to help answer your questions and guide you through the process. We can help you plan ahead, help you review the requirements for your exam, and ensure you understand testing procedures. Our goal is to help you reduce stress and make your experience more successful.

How to prepare for your test
Before arriving, please be prepared to present a valid photo ID and follow all testing policies and procedures. Personal belongings, electronic devices, and other materials may be restricted during exams. Arriving on time helps ensure a smooth testing experience and allows you to use your scheduled testing time effectively.
Accessibility and testing
The Testing Center works to provide an equitable testing environment for students with approved accommodations. Students who receive accommodations should coordinate with IU Southeast Accessible Education Services and follow established guidelines before scheduling an exam.
