Louisville native Alyse Baker is a senior majoring in Graphic Design. A graduate of Pleasure Ridge Park High School, she works as an Administrative Resident Assistant in the lodges and is a Student Coordinator in Admissions. She also works in the Design Center on campus and is a peer mentor, Honors student, Student Government Association member, and a part of Command G. She is thankful and humbled to receive the Chancellor’s Medallion Scholarship, which to her represents recognition of her hard work and dedication academically and the support and belief others have in her potential. She chose IU Southeast for its strong sense of community and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect balance between accessibility and a supportive college environment.

Mason Busick is a senior majoring in Business with a concentration in Finance with a minor in Criminal Justice. He graduated from Scottsburg High School in his hometown and works as a Sales and Leasing Consultant with John Jones Auto Group, where he was the 2024 Runner-Up Sales Consultant of the Year. Busick is honored to receive the Chancellor’s Medallion Scholarship as a recognition of his hard work. As one of six siblings, he contributes to his education, and this scholarship will remove financial barriers to attending IU Southeast. He transferred to IU Southeast because of the school’s smaller classes, one-on-one access to professors, and the flexibility to work while attending full-time. He values the mentoring relationships he can build with his professors, His goal after graduation is to become an Indiana State Trooper and eventually work in federal law enforcement.

Logan Devine is a senior majoring in Business with a concentration in Finance from Newburgh, Indiana. He graduated from St. John’s Northwestern Military Academy and works as the senior payroll analysist at Accurate Healthcare Professionals, a nurse staffing agency in Louisville. Receiving the Chancellor’s Medallion Scholarship is especially meaningful to him. He credits his faith and support from his loved ones for helping him overcome challenges that led him to leave college after two semesters. He returned to college and chose IU Southeast because close friends of his are alumni and spoke highly of their experiences as Grenadiers. He enjoys the support he gets from his professors and advisors, and from administrators and other students, who are friendly and make the campus feel like home. Devine will be seeking an MBA after graduation.

Aidan Hacker is a junior majoring in Finance. A Salem High School graduate from New Albany, Indiana, he is a Data Analyst co-op student with Samtech, working with large amounts of data to build reports that help drive business decisions. He is thankful to be receiving the Chancellor’s Medallion Scholarship and for the recognition of his strong work ethic and productivity. The scholarship will also alleviate financial barriers to continuing his education. Hacker chose IU Southeast for its affordability and location close to home and stayed for the unique personal mentorship he receives from his professors.

Kaylee Luse is a senior from Louisville, Ky majoring in Marketing and Supply Chain Management. An Atherton High School graduate, she works in the Student Life Office on campus where she created and manages the department’s Instagram account. Luse is also Panhellenic president and is a member of Sigma Kappa sorority. Luse’s father is an IU Southeast alumnus and she has found her home here. She feels a strong sense of campus engagement between faculty, staff, and students and immediately felt welcomed into the Grenadier community. She is honored to receive the Chancellor’s Medallion Scholarship and to be recognized for her hard work in her academics, her leadership skills and her potential to make an impact in this campus. After graduation, she plans to work in social media marketing and has a goal to travel to as many countries as she can before she’s 30.

Floyds Knobs native Leah Miller is a graduate of Rock Creek High School. She is a senior majoring in Psychology, with a minor in Sociology. Miller is a Psychology Club officer and served as an Orientation Leader over the summer. She works on-campus in Dining Services and off-campus as a mental health worker. Receiving the Chancellor’s Medallion Scholarship will allow her more time to focus on her education. She chose IU Southeast because it is located close to her great aunt, and because she loves the community and how the campus feels like a home away from home. Miller is planning to attend graduate school to prepare for a career as a therapist.

Jade Mundy, a senior from Jasper, Indiana has loved her time at IU Southeast for the rich opportunities it has provided her. Citing the support of every staff member, every professor, and every Dean, Mundy feels empowered by her studies and how that will translate to a successful future. A psychology major with minors in criminology and communications, who graduated from Northeast Dubois Jr./Sr. High School, Mundy is a student worker helping with campus events large and small, including graduation and IUS Fest. She is also involved in the National Society of Leadership and Success. She works at Zax Creamery in Jasper, IN on weekends and plans to volunteer at the Exceptional Children’s Co-Op to gain more experience in the school psychology field. Mundy plans to apply to IU Bloomington after graduation for their Education Specialist in School Psychology program to become a school psychologist.
