As an Indiana resident you may qualify for this award regardless of your age. This benefit is only for children of veterans that lost their lives or received their disability as a result of their military or civil service, or who received the Purple Heart or are MIA, and pays for 124 credit hours at the undergraduate rate at certain Indiana public universities. The veteran must also have been an Indiana resident for at least 3 consecutive years.
